Believe it or not, the original intent of this blog was to help me move beyond fear – because beyond fear lies freedom – and this was going to be accomplished through ticking items off of my bucket list. Since I started this blog, I am happy to say that I have indeed fulfilled some of my bucket list goals. I still have a long way to go, but I also have some new goals I want to add to my list. Hopefully these goals will inspire me to become the person I’ve always dreamed of being.
New Goals:
- make photography more than a hobby (I love photography as much as I love travel and helping people, so I would love to be able to use it as a way to bring awareness to important issues)
- do a photo trip to cuba (I have always wanted to travel to Cuba, and many photographers have got their start or break in Cuba)
- work with photographers without boarders
- read at least 1 book/month for the rest of my life
- get a ‘big girl’ job (I want to get a job that will become a career in the field of my study, because I suppose I have to grow up sometime)
- live in a big city (I’ve pretty much lived in a small town my whole life, I want a new life experience)
- complete at least 2 photo essays in 2016
- publish a book
- read every pulitzer prize book winner
